Message from the Deputy Principal-Admin-Dr. Mrs. Rosebella Cheptoo Chukwu

For Kenya to achieve Vision 2030, there is need for quality human resource.The quality of the workforce is directly related to the quality of the training it receives and by extension, the quality of instruction in middle level training institutions. The Eldoret National Polytechnic, in this regard, has been keen to offer quality technological training geared towards achieving its mission: “To Produce Human Capital Through Innovative Training for a Dynamic Economy”. Indeed, we all recognise that in today’s competitive global market, it takes the expertise of talented engineers, scientists and technologists as well as the fulfiled hands of craftsmen and technicians to produce quality goods and services for both local consumption and the export market.

The Eldoret National Polytechnic has grown from strength to strength. The most recent achievement of Polytechnic includes among others:

  1. The development of environmental science curriculum at Diploma level, which has been adopted by KNEC .
  2. Integration of International Conference in our annual calendar.
  3. Publishing of the conference papers in Eldoret National Polytechnic’s journal.
  4. Becoming a Centre of Excellence in Chemical Engineering among tertiary institutions and teachers colleges.
  5. Steady growth in infrastructure development.
  6. Excellent training performance in Pharmaceutical Technology Programmes.
  7. Offering over 92 Technical, Applied and Business Studies programmes from Certifiate to Higher National Diploma.
  8. Successful staff development at all levels in order to improve staff competency.
  9. Implementation of ISO 2008:9001 management programmes.
Congragulatory Messsage:
The Eldoret National Polytechnic has been able to make steady progress because of the peaceful environment attained through participatory management style. The staff, students and our neighbours have contributed immensely to this success because of the cordial relationship among all stakeholders and the democratic space prevailing the environment. We look forward to robust growth in future as we work hard to realise our vision. Thank you.
