On April 25, 2026, the Chief Principal, Dr. Charles Koech, accompanied by the Deputy HOD – Health Sciences, Emmanuel Kipruto,attended the Eliad Aspire Global Leadership and Innovation Conference 2026, also known as the African Prestige Honoris Gala, held at the Pavilion Centre, Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. The event convened distinguished leaders and institutions from across the continent to celebrate excellence and recognize the impactful contributions of the Kenya Nutrition and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) in advancing and upholding professional standards in nutrition and dietetics across Africa. It also featured a post-award mocktail in honour of the KNDI CEO, Dr. David Okeyo. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, and Prof. PLO Lumumba, Chair of the Lumumba Foundation Kenya.
