07 April 2025

On 7th April 2025, representatives from the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary, the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, and focal officers from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies conducted a detailed field verification visit to Eldoret National Polytechnic as part of the TVET expansion project. This ongoing exercise in the North Rift region focuses on evaluating the progress of priority programmes and projects.
The assessment seeks to verify the reported implementation status of programmes and projects, pinpoint challenges and systemic issues requiring coordinated resolutions, and provide actionable recommendations to ensure successful completion. Projects under review were selected based on their alignment with key national strategies, such as the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), the Fourth Medium-Term Plan, National Implementation Development Committee (NDIC) priorities, and Medium-Term Expenditure Framework budget allocations.
Additionally, this initiative aims to ensure that these priority programmes and projects effectively contribute to the Government's development goals while delivering meaningful outcomes to citizens. It underscores the importance of interagency collaboration to address challenges and calls for improved coordination among government entities to optimize project management.
