Dr. Edwin Tarno, PhD, HSC, CEO Kenya School of TVET, proudly highlighted the TVET institutions progress in advancing Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs during the closing ceremony of the 13th Annual International Conference. “To support the expansion of CBET programs, the Kenya School of TVET has successfully led the training of trainers. So far, we have trained 7,000 lecturers, and we are committed to training an additional 2,500 in the next phase to ensure we continue to address the skills gap,”he remarked.
As the event concluded, Dr. Tarno emphasized the critical role of these initiatives in shaping the future of TVET and contributing to national development goals.
