After earning her diploma, Sheilah's quest for knowledge and ambition led her to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Returning to her roots in Eldoret, Sheilah worked as an Assistant Engineer, specializing in structural design and quantities for the construction of the Eldoret Southern Bypass.
