​On Thursday, October 31, 2025, a team from the Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) visited The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) to benchmark the successful implementation of the international Australian Signet Programs being offered.
​The RVTTI team was specifically interested in the courses offered by the Liberal Studies Department:
​Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) and ​Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Today, 29th October 2025, the Chief Principal, Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, joined the Principal Secretary for TVET, Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, together with officials from KATTI, to inaugurate two flagship events at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic i.e. the KATTI National Term II Ball Games and the National Skills, Innovation, and Robotics Competitions. In her address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of the TVET sector in creating space for creativity and championing innovative strategies across all relevant industrial sectors.

He further highlighted the polytechnic’s continued excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, and innovation.

Frank Mukuna, delivered a powerful address during the 14th Annual International Research Conference at The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP), highlighting the government’s commitment to transforming Kenya’s technical training landscape through flexible and practical learning models. Dr. Muoria, through her representative, reaffirmed that the Ministry of Education continues to roll out the Modular Curriculum Program, a flexible framework designed to equip trainees with full employable skills within six months.
